Save Yourself?

Everyone tries to be their own savior. And everyone does a really miserable job at it. 


You didn't give birth to yourself.  You didn't grow up by yourself.  Why do you think you can live a good life on your own power?

Salvation Is a Choice

Spending time with God isn't a requirement, it is an opportunity. We can receive as much salvation as we choose to seek.

Not Judging The Criminal

Never judge by appearances. The rowdiest, cussingest, disgustingest person could also be the one with the kindest heart. And God can redeem even the meanest, hardest-hearted SOB.

Deliverance (NOT with Burt Reynolds!)

Jesus' delivers us from all oppressors- Satan, death, sin, governments, employers, husbands, parents. We need fear them no more. (Col 2)

Accepting Jesus

Jesus’ salvation is not an event, but a way of life. Christian life is better understood as an ethic than a theology. (John 8:31)

Who's Your Savior?

Always pray for mercy for others. God gives more mercy than we can possibly bear ourselves. Your pastor or local saint is not the Savior—Jesus is. Sometimes Jesus gives us a day off and saves people directly, without anyone else's help.
