The Limitation of God

Never doubt that God could do anything through prayer. The only limitation God has is the righteous one who says, “Well, God can’t do THAT.”

Confident in the Unseen

Faith is to confidently take action on the basis of God’s promise. (Mark 11:24)

Trust AND Obey

Obedience to Jesus and imitating Jesus is the perfect action of faith. Without seeing this, we cannot be assured of faith. (James 2:14-17; I John 4:20)

Hopelessly Devoted

Faith is to be single-mindedly devoted to God alone.

Belief and Actions

"If someone believed what we know we should believe, would he do what we do?" -Fenelon

I Believe So I May Understand

“Lord, I am not trying to reach your height
For my poor mind could not even approach it.
But I do want to understand a little of Your truth
Which my heart already believes and loves.
I do not seek to understand so that I may believe
But I believe so that I may understand
And further, I believe that unless I believe I shall never understand.”
-Anselm
